Fellowship of Hope

Fellowship of Hope

Chuck Colson founded Prison Fellowship in 1976 with the proceeds from his bestselling autobiography, Born Again. During the remainder of his lifetime, Chuck and his wife Patty created sustaining gifts for the ministry as part of their estate planning. Chuck said, "It is our legacy of hope for the ministry and the world, and will help ensure Prison Fellowship's ability to continue ministering to people who suffer the devastating consequences of crime."

The Fellowship of Hope honors the legacy of Chuck and Patty Colson and celebrates all who have made a lasting commitment to the future of Prison Fellowship.

If you have provided for Prison Fellowship in any of these ways, we want to welcome you to the Fellowship of Hope:

  • A gift in your will or living trust
  • Charitable gift annuity
  • Charitable remainder trust
  • Charitable lead trust
  • Beneficiary of your retirement fund (i.e., IRA, 401k), life insurance, or other account

The Fellowship of Hope is our way to recognize the profound contribution of those who make our ministry possible for future generations. If you are among this group, please tell us of your existing or planned gift provision, so that we may send you a Fellowship of Hope welcome packet.
